GREEK PORT SERVICES Ltd. (GPS Ltd.) is committed to meeting the requirements of stakeholders and legislation for port agent services.

GPS Ltd. is committed by ensuring all the necessary resources to maintain and continuously improve its environmental performance and to comply with the applicable legislation within the scope of the Environmental Management System.

The environmental objectives, given the provision of regulatory compliant services both at human and environmental level, focus on the following:

  • reducing the use of non-renewable energy sources

  • increasing the use of environmentally friendly resources

  • increasing the recycled percentage of its activity outputs
  • reduction of pollutants to the environment

  • implementation of services with reduced environmental impact

  • waste management

  • constant updating of the company on environmental issues

The Environmental / Sustainability Policy is periodically reviewed and revised to reflect changing conditions and new data.

The Senior Management of GPS Ltd. is committed to the development and implementation of the Environmental Management System and to the continuous improvement of its effectiveness, through:

  • the implementation of an Environmental Management System in accordance with the requirements of the ELOT EN ISO 14001:2015 standard

  • ensuring that objectives and goals are established for the performance of its services

  • conducting reviews by the Management in order to improve the Environmental Management System

  • Management’s commitment to provide all the necessary resources in order to improve the applied Environmental Management System

  • the application of environmental legislation and compliance obligations

  • the compliances resulting from its licensing and operation

  • avoiding pollution and protecting the environment
